Introducing the HTB Certified Detection Engineering Principal (HTB CDEP)
- Added Certified Detection Engineering Principal (HTB CDEP), a principal-level practical certification dedicated to detection engineering.
- Added the 13-module Detection Engineer Job Role Path, covering adversary tradecraft, Windows and Linux internals, and low-level telemetry.
- The exam consists of a 10-day hands-on enterprise engagement and a mandatory commercial-grade technical report.
- Completing the full path and all end-of-module practical skills assessments is required before attempting the exam.
- The new Platinum Annual plan costs includes path access and an HTB CDEP exam voucher. The path can also be unlocked with Cubes, and the voucher can be purchased separately.
- The voucher includes two exam attempts and has one-year validity.
